What it does

Whole pages, not just the visible bit
Scrolls the page and stitches it into a single image, including everything below the fold.
No repeated cookie bars
Sticky headers, cookie banners and chat widgets are suppressed, so they do not get stamped down the length of a long capture.
Lazy images actually load
Images that only load as you scroll are fetched before the capture, so you do not end up with grey placeholder blocks.
Annotate and redact
Arrows, boxes, text and highlighter, plus a pixelate tool to blank out anything private before you share it.
Record tab or screen
With tab audio, your microphone and an optional camera bubble. The controls sit in their own window, so they never appear in the recording.
PNG, JPEG or PDF
Export however you need it, or copy straight to the clipboard. The editor is free, not held back for an upgrade.
It cannot leak your work, because it cannot talk to anything
Most screenshot tools ask you to sign in and upload. That is a poor fit for an internal dashboard, an invoice, or a client's staging site. FullFrame has no servers, no analytics and makes no network requests of any kind. Your captures are written to your own browser storage and to the files you save.
No standing access to any site
It requests no host permissions. Chrome grants it a single tab at the moment you click its icon, and that lapses afterwards.
Smallest permission set that works
Screen recording is optional and is only requested the first time you use it. Camera and microphone likewise.
Readable source
Published unminified with no third-party libraries, so your IT team can read exactly what it does before approving it.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes, including the editor and PDF export. There is no paid tier, no trial and no watermark.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for, because there is no server to sign in to.
Where do my screenshots go?
Into your own browser's local storage so you can reopen them, and into the files you choose to save. Recent captures are cleared automatically after a fortnight, and you can delete them all at once in Settings.
Can it capture any page?
Any normal website. Chrome does not permit any extension to capture browser pages such as chrome:// settings or the Web Store itself, so those are out of reach for every tool, not just this one.
Why does a long page take a few seconds?
Chrome limits how often an extension may photograph the screen. A full page capture takes roughly half a second per screen of height, which is a browser limit rather than something an extension can tune away.
What format are recordings?
MP4 where Chrome can produce it, otherwise WebM. You can trim the start and end before saving.
